NOTICE FOR ADMISSION

Session 2010-2012

Applications are invited for Admission in M.Sc. Biotechnology (Session 2010-2012).

A. Biotechnology

Eligibility

B.Sc. (Honours) or equivalent examination under 10+2+3 pattern of education in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Botany, Chemistry and Zoology, with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate.

B.Sc. (General) with (a0 Botany, Zoology, Chemistry or (b) Physics. Chemistry, Mathematics (Having Biology at+2 level). With a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate.

Graduate in Agriculture/Forestry/Veterinary/Medical Sciences with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate.

Note:- Appearing candidate may also apply, However, they have to submit their proof of eligibility at the time of admission.

Total Number of seats 20 in each course.

Admission through Entrance test followed by counseling.

The information brochure/Prospectus and Application Form for the above courses can be obtained from the concerned Department from 8 A.M. by paying Rs. 500/- or RS. 550/- (by post) in the form of D.D drawn in favor of Registrar V.B.U., Hazaribag payable at Hazaribag before the due date.

Admission Form may be downloaded from our website: www.vbu.co.in or www.sccbiotech.com. And may be submitted along with the requisite fee as mentioned above within the prescribed date.

06-07-10 to 31-07-10.

Last date of submission of Application Form:

31-07-10 up to 3:00pm

Date and time of Entrance Test:

01-08-10(Sunday) 10:00 am to 11:30am.

Result of Entrance Test:

04-08-10  (on our website)

Date of Counseling:

07-08-10 from 9:00 am onwards

Final result:

08-08-10 (on our website)

Date of Admission:

09-08-10 to 14-08-10

Classes Commence from:

16-08-10.
